A celebration of food, place and community

An elegant evening in the heart of Bright, bringing together the flavours, stories and people of the Ovens Valley

The event

Fork in the Road is a community-led dining experience created to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate following the Porepunkah incident. Funded by the Victorian State Government Emergency Fund, the evening honours the strength of our region through food, wine, music, and shared moments.

This is not just a dinner — it is a gathering of neighbours, producers, creatives, and supporters, united around a beautifully set table.

The experience

You will enjoy a welcome cocktail prepared exclusively for the event by Reed and Co, before embarking on  five-course dinner featuring locally sourced produce, thoughtfully matched with regional wines, beers and spirits.  Each course tells a story of place, season and collaboration.

Live music will carry the evening into celebration as we move from dining to dancing beneath the warm lighting and an intimate setting.   (Participating chefs will be announced soon)
